Prabhu convent was started in october 1983 by the sibling trio: P. Hemalatha, P. Geethanjali, P. Kokilamba in their residence at H.No: 12/532, SKD Nagar, Tirupati. The pre-school and Nursery thus started, swell to a strength of 50 students in a year to become primary school. On 26th January 1984, the parents of the children forced the sibling trio to register for an educational society under the provision of government statutes. Thus Prabhu Educational Society came into existence on 19th December 1985, in conjunction with aims and objectives of the society the Management Committee thus formed entrusted to find suitable place at Nehru nagar near IS Mahal, secured rented building and started classes from nursery to III class in 1986 and approached the District Educational Officer, Chittoor district for approval of the school. Subsequently, the DEO accorded school permission and recognition in the year 1987 in the name of Prabhu English Medium Primary School.
The classes IV and V subsequently added with the permission of the DEO and as full pledged recognized primary school from class I to V by 1990. In the year 1992, the state government upgraded the school to high school from the class VI to VIII and further approved higher classes IX and X. Consequentially the first batch of X class (SSC) appeared for public examinations in 1997. As the students of the school swollen to 600, the school premises was shifted from Nehru nagar to Bommagunta, a nearby place in june 1994, located at door no:4-4-1125/1, N. T. Road to a new campus consisting an extent of land over 50 cents. The Prabhu Educational Society constructed school with the permission of Tirupati Municipality (TMC) and the new campus was inaugurated by Sri Marri Shashidhar Reddy, the then Minister for Science and Technology, Govt. of A. P on 8.9.1994. Since then the school is organized into 3 components
1. Prabhu English Medium Pre Primary School (Nursery, LKG and UKG)
2. Prabhu English Medium Primary School (classes from I to V) and
3. Prabhu English Medium High School (classes from VI to X).
to cater the educational needs of the poor students (lower and middle income groups) of socially disadvantaged sections of the society with affordable fee structure and with service motive.
